Kyle Stumpenhorst is the founder of RR Buildings — one of the most recognized names in post-frame construction. What began as a small building company in Franklin Grove, Illinois, has grown into a global community of tradespeople united by a shared passion for craftsmanship.

Originally trained as a computer engineer, Kyle walked away from the office grind to build something real with his hands. In 2007, he began remodeling his own home, and by 2012, he was sharing his projects online. What started as simple documentation evolved into a full-fledged educational platform that now reaches millions worldwide.

Building More Than Buildings

Through RR Buildings, Kyle has become both a builder and an educator. His YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram channels — now boasting over 3 million combined followers — showcase not just finished builds, but the process, problem-solving, and craftsmanship that go into them.

He’s known for his transparent, detailed teaching style — explaining the why behind every step and showing the realities of construction, not just the highlight reel. His goal is simple: to help others learn, improve, and take pride in their work.
